European and German Patent Attorney trainee
Dr. Matthias Nuber obtained a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in condensed matter physics from the Technical University of Munich (TUM). During his studies, he received a scholarship from the Max Weber Program of the State of Bavaria. In his PhD studies at the Chair for Laser and X-Ray Physics of the TUM, with a research stay at the Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, he studied charge carrier dynamics in energy conversion materials using time-resolved infrared spectroscopy.
Matthias received a PhD scholarship from the “Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes” (German Academic Scholarship Foundation). At Zimmermann & Partner, Matthias deals with all aspects of intellectual property law. He specializes in the fields of physics, microtechnology, mechanical engineering, material science and energy technology.
