Mr Julian Primbs is a physicist (M.Sc.) and graduate engineer (Dipl.-Ing. (TUM)) in electrical engineering and information technology. At Zimmermann & Partner, he specialises in the fields of microtechnology, mechanical engineering, energy technology and medical technology. Mr Primbs handles national and international patent applications and accompanies them through the granting procedure of the German and European Patent Office. Mr Primbs studied physics as well as electrical engineering and information technology at the Technical University of Munich.

As part of his master’s degree, he focussed on the control of charge transport in low-dimensional materials using ultra-thin interfacial oxides and nitrides. During his master studies, Mr Primbs worked at the Walter Schottky Institute and at the Excellence Cluster Universe. Prior to his studies, he completed an apprenticeship as a toolmaker.
