European Patent Attorney Candidate
Ms. Chloe Hanchun Chen studied physics at National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan. From 2015 to 2021 she worked as a patent engineer for several established law firms in Taipei. During this time, Ms. Chen dealt with patent prosecutions mainly in the fields of software, telecommunication, physics, semiconducor technology, display technology, electronics and optics. In 2023, Ms. Chen graduated from TU Dresden in Germany with an LL.M. degree in IP law. At graduation she won Alumni Association Prize for the best graduate of the year and prize for the best master thesis for her master thesis “Critical analysis and assessment for the patent theories.” Under the framework of her LL.M. studies Ms. Chen studied at CEIPI, University of Strasbourg in France under the study programme Master 2 Intellectual Property Law and Valuation of Intangible Assets. At Zimmermann & Partner Ms. Chen deals with patent prosecutions in the fields of electrical and electronics engineering, physics, power engineering, medical technology and mechanical engineering.
